Tapestry takes its inspiration from the woven tapestries that once hung in grand houses, where image, pattern and material carried stories across generations. It draws on that sense of accumulated history and gathering, exploring how objects are shaped by their relationships to one another and to the spaces between them. Layered marks build and recede across the surface, allowing material, memory and the traces of making to remain present.
