Nothing Stands Alone

I think of painting as a living field of relationships, where objects, materials, surfaces, and spaces continually interact and shape one another. Familiar forms emerge, fragment, and dissolve, while raw linen, layered paint, drawn marks, and traces of what came before remain part of the work. Meaning is held not only in the objects themselves, but in the shifting relationships between them and the space they inhabit.

Recent Work

A floral still life painting featuring various flowers in vases, including orange roses, white and yellow flowers, and greenery on a visible raw linen background of re-purposed drapery panel.
